When a prospect books through PepoSmart:
- Copper is searched for an existing Person matching the email address
- If found, the booking links to the existing record
- If new, a Person is created with name, email (work category), and phone (work category)
- Copper's native duplicate handling is respected — no cluttered records
Work Email and Phone Categories
PepoSmart creates Copper contacts using the "work" category for email and phone fields, matching how most teams organize their Copper data. This keeps your People records consistent with your existing categorization.
2. Booking Details as Copper Activities
Every booking creates an Activity on the Person record with:
- Meeting title and scheduled time
- Contact's timezone
- Phone number if collected
- Custom question answers with clear formatting
- Meeting location (Google Meet link, Zoom URL, or address)
Since Copper integrates deeply with Google Calendar, these activities complement your existing calendar events with the booking context that Google Calendar doesn't capture.
3. AI Meeting Notes as Activities
When Collect Meeting Notes is enabled, PepoSmart's AI joins the call and generates a summary that's posted as a Copper Activity on the Person record:

Setting Up the Integration
Step 1: Connect Your Copper Account
Navigate to Integrations in PepoSmart and click Connect to Copper. Authorize via Copper's OAuth flow.
