1. Contact Sync to Your CRM Board
Monday.com's CRM isn't a fixed structure — it's a board you configure with the columns you need. PepoSmart respects this flexibility:
- When you connect, PepoSmart discovers your boards and lets you select your CRM board
- Contacts are created as Items on your chosen board
- Email and Phone columns are populated automatically (PepoSmart detects your column types)
- If a contact already exists (matched by email), the booking links to the existing item
Choose Your CRM Board
During setup, PepoSmart uses Monday.com's API to list your boards. You select which board serves as your CRM, and PepoSmart syncs contacts there. This works whether you use Monday's CRM template, a custom board, or any board with email and phone columns.
2. Booking Details as Item Updates
Every booking creates an Update (comment) on the contact's item with:
- Contact's timezone
- Phone number if collected
- Custom question answers with clear formatting
- Meeting location (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or address)
Updates in Monday.com appear in the item's conversation tab, giving your team booking context alongside all other communications about that contact.
3. AI Meeting Notes as Updates
When Collect Meeting Notes is enabled, PepoSmart's AI generates a summary posted as an Update on the contact item:

Setting Up the Integration
Step 1: Connect Your Monday.com Account
Navigate to Integrations in PepoSmart and click Connect to Monday.com. Enter your Monday.com API token to establish the connection.

Turn on Collect Meeting Notes on events where you want AI notetaking and subitem creation.
