Everyone who books a meeting with you becomes a contact in PepoSmart automatically, and you can organise those contacts into mailing lists: clients, leads, past attendees. Lists are the audience layer under broadcasts and sequences.
One distinction matters here. Creating a contact record from a booking is an operational step — it is how PepoSmart knows who you met. It is not marketing consent. A booking tells you someone wanted a meeting; it does not tell you they want your newsletter, and in the EU, UK and several other jurisdictions marketing email needs its own lawful basis. PepoSmart does not capture, store or verify marketing consent for you, so deciding your basis and keeping the records is your job. Mailing lists are available on the Professional plan and above.

Does a booking count as consent to market to someone?+
No. A booking records that someone met with you; it is not permission to send them marketing email. PepoSmart creates the contact record but does not capture, store or verify a consent event, so establishing a lawful basis, keeping the record and honouring opt-outs are yours to handle. An unsubscribe link is added to every send automatically.
Do I have to import contacts?+
Your booking invitees become contacts automatically. You can organize them into lists from the email dashboard, filtered by event and meeting date.
Can one contact be on several lists?+
Yes — a client can be on 'Clients' and 'Newsletter' at once; sends target whichever list you pick.
Is there a contact limit?+
