PepoSmart sends your broadcasts and sequences through an SMTP connection you supply, so email comes from your own address on your own domain and your sender reputation stays yours. Credentials are encrypted before storage and the connection is verified when you save it.

Bulk email lives or dies on deliverability, and deliverability belongs to whoever controls the sending domain. PepoSmart sends your broadcasts and sequences through a standard SMTP connection you supply — Gmail and Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, Zoho Mail, or a mail server of your own.
That means emails come from your address on your domain and your sender reputation stays yours. Two things follow from that, and we would rather say them plainly: PepoSmart imposes no send limit, but your provider does, and its per-hour and per-day caps are the ones that actually apply; and because the sending domain is yours, inbox placement depends on your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and your own reputation. Nobody — us included — can guarantee deliverability. Credentials are encrypted before they are stored.

Standard SMTP
Plug in host, port, username and password from Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid, SES, Mailgun, Zoho Mail or your own mail server. Providers that only offer a proprietary API, with no SMTP endpoint, are not supported.

What SMTP Settings does not do

- Providers that only offer a proprietary HTTP API, with no SMTP endpoint, cannot be connected.
- Deliverability depends on your SPF, DKIM and DMARC records and your own reputation. PepoSmart cannot promise inbox placement.
- If your provider throttles or rejects a send, that failure originates with them.

Will my emails reach the inbox?+
That depends on your domain, not on PepoSmart, and we will not promise otherwise. Publish SPF and DKIM records for your sending domain, add a DMARC policy, warm up a new domain gradually, and keep your list clean. If your provider throttles or rejects a send, that failure comes from them.
Are my credentials safe?+
SMTP credentials are encrypted before storage and used only to send the emails you compose. You can replace or remove them at any time, which immediately stops PepoSmart from sending on your behalf.
